Our Research Packages

We offer three structured tiers of research, each focusing on reconstructing the direct lineage of yourself, a grandparent, or any ancestor.

One surname

Traces one family surname line from a chosen ancestor (male or female) connected to France.

Includes:

  • 8 hours of research
  • a printed book
  • a pedigree chart
  • a booklet with record images*

* For reference only due to possible licensing constraints

All research is performed using French archival sources and is delivered in English.

It may exceptionally extend to Belgium and Luxembourg.

We will conduct a thorough search for records and information up to the number of hours the package you selected holds.

For a starting person born after the late 1800s, the research may reach the mid‑ to late 1700s.

If the starting person was born before 1800, it may stretch into the early 1700s or the late 1600s.

Everything depends on what records have survived. Depending on the region, some lines go further than others, and some reach their limit earlier.

At minimum, we need one piece of documented information containing a full name, a date, or a location from a source such as a census record, marriage certificate, or death certificate.

Partial information and spelling variations can often be worked with, but we do need something concrete and verifiable to begin.

From the moment we receive your information, most projects are completed and dispatched within 5 to 8 weeks.

This includes research, writing and print production.

Please note that delivery times beyond this point are subject to international shipping times and are therefore beyond our control.
